Artist in Residency Program

 

Ililewa Companies, creators of IDENTITY NARRATIVE® is seeking emerging artists for its  Artists Residency program. The program seeks to promote the work, talent and vision of emerging artists in conjunction with its  “Scent As Art” exhibition.  Identity Narrative is Ililewa Companies’  line of naturally derived fine fragrances, through which scent is showcased as art.  This exceptional curated fragrance line embraces all art forms in full recognition that individual expression is the essence of scent.

Artist-In-Residence Initiative

Through the IDENTITY NARRATIVE Artist-In-Residence Initiative, Identity Narrative® seeks to  showcase emerging artists, whether the medium of choice for the artist is music, painting, sculpture, photography, film, drawing, ceramic, video, literature or visual (performance, conceptual, textile).

Each period, a new artist will be selected and her/his work will be displayed on our website on Identity Narrative’s website with a descriptive narrative about the artist and their artistry.  At the end of the year all artists previously featured will be showcased as part of a retrospective.

Announcements about the artist(s) and/or her/his work will made throughout the year through the Identity Narrative platforms and the art may appear in varied locations associated with Identity Narrative products.

Artists interested in being featured should submit their work product to hello@identitynarrative.com

A waiver will be required in furtherance of the submission of any art pertaining to the art and the artist seeking to participate in the Artist-In-Residence Initiative.

All emerging artist, both formally trained or self taught are encouraged to apply.
